Pre-event preparation

On arrival one of our track marshalls will take you through our National Karting Association briefing. You will be given a race suit and a crash helmet. Please see the detail (right) about gloves and balaclavas.

The warm-up laps

After our track safety briefing it’s the practice session, where you will get to know your Biz Evo Kart. You will familiarise yourself with our purpose-built circuit and warm up your tyres, ready for the race.

Hull Karting is the ideal way to entertain your staff or clients. We can cater for large groups of people and can tailor events to suit your needs. Expert or novice, it’ll be a day they will remember.

Prices for 2020

Please note –

  • a minimum height of 4′ 6″ applies to all book and drive sessions and 5′ for all race events
  • the minimum age for book and drive sessions is 8yrs; 14yrs+ applies for race events
  • always ring for availability and further details
  • all drivers must arrive 45 mins before booked drive time to allow for briefing, kitting up, and to ensure the booked session starts on time
  • all Drivers must sit a 30 minutes Health & Safety briefing and induction

Grand Prix and Mini Grand Prix

Silverstone Mini GP 8 – 18 drivers each driver has a 10 min practise session followed by a 15 min qualifying session and then a 20 lap final race with medals for podium positions and bubbly for the winner 48
Indianapolis GP Minimum of 19 drivers (maximum – 75)
Drivers do a 2 lap warm-up, then all drivers do 2 x 10 lap heat races
Drivers are then allocated to either a 10 lap runners up or winners final, based on heat results

Teams of 2 or 3 Drivers all take part in a 15 minute qualifying session and then take part in a 75 Lap endurance race and alternate drivers.

Balaclavas and gloves

All customers must either provide their own gloves and balaclavas that are appropriate for karting, or they may purchase them (to keep) from Hull Karting for just £2 each or £3 for a set.

Gloves must be appropriate for karting and have grip on the palm.
