Please note

Only drivers aged 18+ can take part in grand prix and endurance races.

Ideally all participants should wear flat soled footwear, eg trainers.

Under no circumstances will anybody known to be under the influence of drink or drugs be allowed on to the circuit. The company also adopts a zero tolerance policy with regards to –

  1. deliberate damage to company equipment
  2. abusive behaviour towards staff

Anyone in breach of the above will be asked to leave the premises and be subject to the full force of any applicable legislation. All deliberate damage will be charged in full.

All motor sports, including karting, are, by their very nature, highly hazardous activities. Because of this we at Hull Karting take your safety very seriously.

As a part of our processes all participants must read, complete, and sign a consent form to say they understand the risks, before they start the session. Under 18s must have a consent form sign by a parent or guardian.

Available consent forms for download

Participants must also undertake the health and safety briefing and induction, which includes the National Karting Association (NKA) briefing video, before taking part.

All participants are giving clear instruction and coaching by our trained staff before taking part in any event.

We expect all drivers to comply with the centre’s health and safety, track, and driving rules and regulations. Where drivers do not adhere to these instructions, and where they put themselves or others at risk, their session will be terminated. Any costs they have incurred will not be refunded.

We ensure that we operate to the highest standards possible and are therefore proud to be an authorised member of the National Karting Association (NKA). NKA is the national governing body for commercial karting in the UK.

Visit the National Karting Association’s website (link opens in a new window)

Our facilities, track and staff are inspected annually to ensure that we comply with the NKA requirements.

The minimum age for our karting sessions is 8 years old (except grand prix and endurance races, which have a minimum age limit of 18). Irrespective of age, all drivers must be over 4’6″ tall.
